On 20 and 21 February 2017 a Workshop on the Set-up of a Police and Customs Cooperation Centre took place in Jericho. The Seminar, funded by the European Union in the framework of TAIEX “Technical Assistance and Information Exchange”, has been organized in cooperation with the General Authority for Border and Crossing with the support of EUBAM Rafah.
The workshop represented a unique opportunity for the participants to become familiar with the concept of border police and customs cooperation center and a valuable complement to the activities provided to the Palestinian border authorities by EUBAM Rafah mission in Intra-Agency cooperation sector.
More than 50 GABC managers and officers participated in the activities, which have been held by specialized experts from France, Italy, Poland and the Netherlands.
