EUBAM Rafah has welcomed a delegation from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs dealing with EU Missions in the region, the Swedish Consulate General in Jerusalem and the Embassy in Tel Aviv.
The delegation was received by Florin Bulgariu, the Mission’s Integrated Border Management Expert, and was briefed on the Mission’s mandate, its cooperation with stakeholders and the collaboration with counterparts – mainly the General Administration for Borders and Crossings (GABC) and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT). The briefing also included an overview of the trainings/workshops in the field of border management delivered by the Mission to the Palestinian border agencies.
Following the briefing, the delegation was introduced to the Mission Members and had their additional inquiries answered.
