From 28th until 30th of May 2023, EUBAM Rafah together with two trainers from the German Police State Bureau for Training, Professional Development and Personnel of North Rhine-Westphalia (LAFP) delivered a training course on Conflict Management and Conflict Prevention to the General Administration for Borders and Crossings (GABC).
The training tailored to GABC needs was delivered to 15 participants in Jericho. It included different interactive activities and the participants for example learned about advanced techniques to prevent and manage conflicts on several levels. The course was part of a training series which aimed at ensuring the safety of officers and passengers in Al Karameh Terminal through increasing the level of cooperation between the different border agencies under the umbrella of GABC.
The training was perceived as very positive by all participants.
