On June 27th 2024, 13 employees from the General Administration for Borders and Crossings (GABC) concluded the third and last session of a training course on Media and Digital Communication.
The project, held in cooperation with the Ro’ya Media Academy, included GABC staff from Media Team, International Relations, Customs and Border Police and tackled topics such as Technical Skills in Digital Media, Mobile Journalism and News Writing and Press Releases.
The participants have been awarded with a final Certificate from International Academy of Arts, Media, and Creativity (IAAMC).
In the past, EUBAM advised GABC for the draft of a Communication Strategy and now we focus again on strengthening of GABC communication capacities, considering the constant increase in the number of passengers crossing at Al Karama Terminal, in Jericho.
Dealing with media and communicating with the citizens in an appropriate and effective way is key step towards a transparent administration.
